Role Context
The Receptionist is the first point of contact for our guests, playing a crucial role in shaping their overall impression of MAA Hotel & Suites. This position requires a high level of professionalism, excellent communication skills, and a passion for customer service. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the front desk operations, ensuring a smooth and efficient check-in and check-out process, and assisting guests with their inquiries and needs.
Responsibilities
The Receptionist will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including but not limited to:
- Greeting guests warmly and professionally upon arrival.
- Managing reservations, check-ins, and check-outs efficiently.
- Answering phone calls and directing them to the appropriate departments.
- Providing information about hotel services, amenities, and local attractions.
- Handling guest requests and resolving any issues or complaints promptly and courteously.
- Maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the reception area.
- Assisting with administrative tasks as needed.
Qualifications and Experience
To be successful in this role, candidates should possess the following qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in a similar role, preferably in the hospitality industry.
- Professional, reliable, and customer-focused demeanor.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in using hotel management software is an advantage.
