WHAT YOU WILL DO:
Leadership and Management:
- Develop and implement regional engagement and growth strategies that strengthen Rainforest Alliance's position across Asia, Africa and Oceania, delivering annual revenue, partnership and impact objectives.
- Lead and develop a regional team (circa 8 people) to grow commercial performance, growing existing business, building strategic relationships, identifying new opportunities, and delivering year-on-year revenue growth.
- Establish and monitor performance metrics, forecasts and reporting for the regional portfolio, working with Revenue Operations and using data, analytics and stakeholder feedback to guide decision-making and improve performance.
- Analyze sustainability trends, regulatory developments, market dynamics and customer insights to identify opportunities for impact, engagement and revenue growth, and provide strategic recommendations to inform organizational priorities.
- Be the voice of the customer and market internally, helping ensure Rainforest Alliance's solutions, services and strategies remain relevant and responsive to evolving stakeholder needs.
- Build, lead and develop a high-performing team that reflects Rainforest Alliance's values, encouraging a positive and inclusive working environment while supporting professional growth and accountability.
- Provide leadership, collaboration and strategic support across the global Corporate Engagement & Partnerships team.
Advocacy and External Engagement
- Build and maintain senior-level relationships with key external stakeholders across sustainability, procurement, corporate affairs, government and civil society to strengthen Rainforest Alliance's influence and insight.
- Convene and facilitate cross-sector dialogue on shared sustainability challenges and opportunities, supporting collaboration and system-level change across priority markets.
- Represent Rainforest Alliance at external forums, industry events and roundtables, positioning Rainforest Alliance as a trusted voice on sustainable sourcing and supply chain transformation.
- Strengthening Rainforest Alliance's visibility, credibility and thought leadership across the region through strategic engagement and speaking opportunities.
- In collaboration with the Communications team, shape and deliver external-facing content, insights and messaging that amplify regional impact and organizational priorities.
WHAT YOU BRING:
- Masters-level education or equivalent professional experience.
- 10+ years' experience in senior B2B commercial roles, including complex sales, partnership development, or client leadership within international or matrix organizations.
- Successful track record in developing and leading go-to-market strategies that deliver revenue growth and profitability, alongside external engagement, senior stakeholder management, and representation in multi-stakeholder environments.
- Experience with sustainability, ESG or impact-driven business models, within FMCG, agriculture, cocoa, coffee, palm oil, forest products, or sustainability consultancy sectors.
- Build, leverage and activate senior-level networks to lead commercial opportunities and strategic partnerships.
- Leadership experience with the ability to inspire, develop and hold teams accountable, combined with a proven commercial track record.
- Ability to travel internationally.
