Registered Nurse (KRCCN, KRNN, KRPON)

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES     

  • Deliver comprehensive, evidence-based nursing care within the assigned specialty area.
  • Monitor, assess, and document patients’ conditions, responding promptly tclinical changes and emergencies.
  • Operate and maintain specialized medical equipment relevant tthe unit (e.g., ventilators, dialysis machines, surgical equipment).
  • Ensure strict adherence tinfection prevention, control measures, and hospital safety protocols.
  • Assist physicians and colleagues during clinical procedures and participate in patient education initiatives.
  • Contribute tcontinuous quality improvement, staff training, and compliance with accreditation standards.

Requirements

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • Kenyan citizen aged below 45 years.
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing or Diploma in Nursing from a recognized institution.
  • Higher Diploma in any of the following specialties from an accredited institution:
  • Critical Care Nursing (KRCCN)
  • Perioperative (Theatre) Nursing (KRPON)
  • Renal Nursing (KRNN)
  • Valid and current nursing license/registration with the Nursing Council of Kenya (NCK).
  • Minimum of 3 years’ clinical experience in any of the following areas:
  • High Dependency Unit (HDU)
  • Critical Care Unit (CCU)
