Research Support
Assist in designing and implementing research studies, surveys, and assessments.
Support data collection efforts, including conducting interviews, focus groups, and administering questionnaires.
Participate in field research activities, ensuring ethical data collection and adherence to research protocols.
Assist in qualitative and quantitative data analysis using relevant tools and software.
Contribute to the development of research reports, briefs, and presentations.
Monitoring & Evaluating (M&E) Support
Assist in designing and implementing M&E frameworks, tools, and methodologies.
Collect, clean, and manage program data to ensure accuracy and reliability.
Support the tracking and documentation of project outcomes and impact indicators.
Conduct periodic monitoring visits to project sites and document findings.
Assist in preparing M&E reports, dashboards, and learning materials for internal and external stakeholders.
Support knowledge management and the dissemination of best practices and lessons learned.
Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences, Development Studies, Statistics, Economics, Public Policy, Data Science, or a related field.
At least 1-2 years of experience in research, data collection, and/or monitoring & evaluation.
Experience in data science, data visualization, and machine learning is highly desirable.
Strong report writing skills with demonstrated experience in preparing research or M&E reports.
Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel, SPSS, Stata, NVivo, Python, R, or other relevant software.

The Research and Monitoring & Evaluation (M&E) Officer is an entry-level position responsible for supporting the implementation of research and M&E activities within the HEVA Fund. This role involves assisting in data collection, analysis, reporting, and contributing to the continuous improvement of programs and projects. The officer will work closely with the Research Manager and M&E Manager to ensure effective monitoring, learning, and accountability across research studies and CCI development programs implemented by HEVA Fund.
Key Responsibilities
