Position Overview
The Research & Data Analytics Officer will drive data-informed decision-making across the institution. The role involves analyzing operational and financial dataset trends, conducting market and competitor research, building predictive data models, and transforming complex data into actionable business intelligence to support growth and risk mitigation.
Key Responsibilities
- Data Analysis & Reporting: Extract, clean, and analyze customer, transaction, and operational datasets to generate periodic business insights.
- Market & Business Research: Conduct market intelligence studies, consumer behavior research, and competitor analysis to identify growth opportunities.
- Business Intelligence Dashboards: Build and maintain interactive reporting dashboards for management and executive reporting.
- Predictive Analytics: Support risk, credit, and product performance analysis using quantitative techniques and analytical tools.
- Cross-Functional Support: Collaborate with product development, risk, and marketing teams to inform decision-making processes.
Minimum Requirements & Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, Business, or a related quantitative discipline.
- Experience: Proven hands-on experience in business data analytics, statistical modeling, or financial market research.
- Technical Competencies: Strong analytical and quantitative skills; proficiency with statistical packages, SQL, data visualization software (e.g., PowerBI, Tableau), or Excel.
