Role Summary
Our client, an established establishment within the hotel industry, is looking for an experienced, results-driven Food & Beverage (F&B) Supervisor to manage day-to-day dining operations in Kitui. This role focuses on supervising serving staff, guaranteeing excellent customer service standards, tracking operational costs, and enforcing strict food safety and hygiene protocols across all dining facilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Operations Supervision: Oversee daily food and beverage service delivery across internal restaurants, bars, and room service units.
- Team Leadership: Lead, train, schedule, and support front-of-house service staff to maintain high-quality, professional hospitality standards.
- Cost & Inventory Control: Monitor daily inventory levels, track bar/kitchen supplies, and enforce waste-reduction procedures to optimize F&B costs.
- Customer Experience: Resolve guest complaints promptly and professionally to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and repeat business.
- Financial Administration:Manage shift cash handling, supervise Point of Sale (POS) system procedures, and audit daily sales reports.
- Compliance Tracking:Analyze routine sales performance metrics and ensure total compliance with corporate hotel policies and statutory health laws.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Education: Diploma in Hospitality Management, Food & Beverage Management, or a related hospitality field.
- Experience: A minimum of 2–3 years of active hands-on experience in Food & Beverage operations, with proven supervisory or shift-leading responsibilities.
- Language Skills: Proficient verbal and written fluency in both English and Kiswahili.

Clear team communication, basic financial reporting capabilities, high-stress problem solving, and a deep understanding of food hygiene standards.
