  • Our client, a well-established and fast-paced restaurant in Nairobi, is seeking to hire a Restaurant Supervisor who is proactive, energetic, and experienced in managing a busy restaurant environment. The ideal candidate is someone who can lead a team, ensure smooth daily operations, and deliver excellent customer service under pressure.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise daily front-of-house and back-of-house operations to ensure seamless restaurant functioning.
  • Manage restaurant staff including scheduling, delegation of duties, and performance monitoring.
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent service and handling of complaints promptly and professionally.
  • Monitor stock levels, place orders, and ensure proper inventory management.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards.
  • Assist in training new staff and implementing service standards.
  • Prepare daily reports on restaurant activities, sales, and staff performance.
  • Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery.
  • Maintain cleanliness, order, and ambiance of the restaurant at all times.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of a Diploma in Hospitality Management or related field.
  • At least 3 years of experience in a supervisory role within a busy restaurant environment.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to multitask and thrive under pressure.
  • Excellent customer service and problem-solving abilities.
  • Knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations.
  • Computer literate with working knowledge of POS systems.
  • Flexible and willing to work long hours, including weekends and public holidays.
