A large construction company involved in Electrical, Power, water and civil engineering and construction wishes to recruit a highly competent self-driven candidate for the following vacant position:

ROADS CONSTRUCTION ENGINEER
A Roads Construction Engineer will handle the management of roads projects.

Responsibilities

• Leading technical delivery of civil engineering projects multitude of tasks in roads construction.
  
• Completing analytically an overview, appraisals and recommendations of road projects.
  
• Overseeing completion of planning, budget, site Establishment and designs documentation
  
• Establishing and developing quarries, appropriate Equipment/machinery and the disposal sites
  
• Participating with the recruitment and acquisitions/ ordering teams.
  
• Hiring and supervision workers, developing staff, technical training and mentoring.
  
• Managing the construction schedule, targets, payment certificates and resolving matters arising
  
• Inspecting and reviewing the construction project regularly in conformity with safety aspect.
  
• Allocating use of the available resources for the project.
  
• Preparing projects reports to management and clients regularly
  
• Maintaining and developing professional relationship with Clients for future repeat business.
  
• Presenting to clients and key stakeholders in a professional and responsive manner.
  
• Adherence to workplace health and safety policy.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Roads Highway Engineering option.
  
• At least 8 years‘ experience while in-charge of roads construction
  
• Must have managed a large scale road construction project To completion
  
• Competent in construction related computer soft wares.
  
• Must have unquestionable integrity, excellent communication and report writing skills.
