The dynamic and results-driven Sales Manager- Corporate Business will spearhead the acquisition and management of corporate accounts. The role focuses on developing strategic partnerships with organizations, driving revenue through targeted sales efforts, and fostering long-term client relationships to enhance growth for our sports club.

Responsibilities or duties

  • Identify and target potential corporate clients to open new business accounts.
  • Act as the primary liaison for corporate clients, ensuring their needs are met and expectations are exceeded.
  • Lead contract negotiations, closing deals that maximize profit margins and meet company targets.
  • Build and sustain robust relationships with key decision-makers within client organizations to drive repeat business.
  • Identify growth opportunities within existing accounts to meet or exceed sales quotas.
  • Prepare and present detailed account status reports and sales forecasts to the Sales Manager.
  • Oversee the seamless delivery of services, ensuring customer satisfaction and timely responses to client inquiries.
  • Track and analyze key account performance metrics to inform future strategies.
  • Partner with the broader sales team to leverage opportunities and drive corporate sales growth.
  • Address and resolve complex client requests and escalate issues as needed to maintain strong client relationships.
  • Manage client expectations to promote satisfaction and secure long-term business relationships.
  • Continuously look for ways to improve client engagement and sales processes.
  • Undertake additional relevant tasks to support the sales function as guided by the supervisor.

Qualifications or requirements (e.g., education, skills)

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Sales and Marketing, or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years in executive sales role within the service industry, insurance, banking or financial services sectors. Expertise in corporate sales and account management and previous experience in a similar Club setup is highly desired.

  • Demonstrated ability to drive sales processes and close deals effectively.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build and maintain corporate relationships.
  • Skilled in contract negotiation and influencing decision-makers at all levels.
  • Adept at managing multiple accounts and priorities simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in delivering persuasive presentations to stakeholders.
  • Ability to address client issues swiftly and efficiently.
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Office Suite.
  • Ability to forecast and monitor account metrics to inform strategic planning.
