General Purpose

Our client is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Team Leader – Eastern Region to drive retail coverage, revenue growth, and execution excellence. The role is responsible for leading Trade Representatives to ensure product availability, strong distributor partnerships, effective POSM visibility, and impactful regional activations that translate into measurable business growth.

• Regional Sales Growth Planning

  Develop and execute comprehensive regional sales growth plans aligned with overall company objectives. Monitor performance trends and adjust strategies to ensure consistent revenue and market share growth.

• Distributor Performance & KPI Management

  Set clear distributor KPIs and work closely with distributor teams to drive accountability and performance. Provide structured support to ensure targets on availability, volume, and coverage are achieved.

• Team Training, Coaching & Development

  Conduct regular training, mentorship, and field coaching to equip the team with the skills and confidence required for effective execution. Build a high-performance culture focused on discipline, productivity, and results.

• Performance Evaluation & Corrective Action

  Continuously evaluate customer performance and team productivity to identify gaps and root causes. Develop and implement SMART corrective action plans to close performance gaps sustainably.

• BTL Planning & Regional Activations

  Plan Below-The-Line (BTL) activities and ensure timely and high-quality execution of all scheduled activations. Track ROI of activations and optimize future initiatives based on insights gathered.

• Resource & Asset Management

  Manage company resources and customer asset partnerships responsibly to guarantee maximum return on investment. Ensure proper utilization, tracking, and maintenance of allocated tools and materials.

• Team Support & Journey Plan Alignment

  Design and align journey plans to optimize route efficiency and retail coverage. Address operational challenges, ensure availability of tools of trade, and remove barriers affecting team productivity.

• Reporting, Controls & Data Analysis

  Analyze sales reports and control tools to identify performance gaps and opportunities. Ensure appropriate reporting systems and compliance with company policies are maintained across the region.

• Debt Management & Risk Mitigation

  Oversee debt management processes to safeguard company cash flow and maintain healthy distributor relationships. Identify potential business risks early and implement mitigation strategies proactively.
