Role Overview
The Sales Agronomy Intern will own field operations, customer engagement, and CRM mapping of B2B and B2C relationships for Methagen’s products. This role combines sales support, field agronomy, and customer insights, ensuring that Methagen reaches the right customers, collects actionable feedback, and grows adoption in key markets.
We hire brilliant, independent thinkers who can plan and execute in the field, adapt to challenges, and deliver measurable results.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct B2C customer outreach to smallholder farmers and end-users.
- Support area managers in onboarding new customers and maintaining relationships with existing ones.
- Map potential B2B customers in the CRM system; track data and insights.
- Visit farms, stores, and distribution points to collect testimonials, photos, and product usage data.
- Track product adoption rates, competitor products, and farmer feedback.
- Maintain CRM records and generate insights to inform product development and marketing.
- Suggest operational improvements based on field observations.
- Represent Methagen in exhibitions, field events, and customer meetings.
Candidate Profile

- Thinks independently and can execute end-to-end in the field.
- Shows strong problem-solving, communication, and observational skills.
- Can adapt quickly to changing priorities and environments.
- Demonstrates ownership over previous projects or initiatives with measurable outcomes.
- Interest in agriculture, sustainability, or organic solutions is preferred but not required.
Optional but valued:
- Education or work experience in agriculture, agronomy, or related fields.
- Familiarity with CRM systems or field operations processes.
