Responsibilities
- Identify new sales opportunities through active lead generation, cold calling, and professional networking to expand the client base.
- Develop and implement comprehensive field marketing plans to promote building products in line with company objectives and market trends.
- Actively track and engage new clients to build a robust sales pipeline.
- Conduct professional presentations and present formal offers and proposals to potential customers.
- Negotiate contracts and business agreements to secure successful deals.
- Build and maintain long-term client loyalty through proactive relationship management and excellent service.
Qualifications and Requirements
Experience: 3-4 years in construction materials (specifically steel, cement, or hardware; excludes tiles, paints, or sanitary ware).
Industry Focus: Deep knowledge and an established network within the steel and cement sectors.
Traits: Dynamic, high-energy, and proactive approach to field sales.
Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office; SAP experience is a significant bonus.
Languages: Full fluency in English and Kiswahili; proficiency in Hindi or Gujarati is an added advantage.
Core Skills: Strong negotiation, relationship management, and lead pipeline tracking.
Mindset: Results-oriented and self-driven to meet aggressive targets with minimal supervision.
