The Presbyterian Church of East Africa (PCEA) Sukari Parish is seeking a qualified and visionary female Principal for PCEA Booth School, a girls' secondary school in Kahawa Sukari Estate, Kiambu County.
Key Responsibilities: The Principal will provide strategic leadership to achieve the school's mission. This includes overseeing academic programs, staff and learner development, school operations, finances, and community relations, all within a Christian framework.
Key Requirements for Candidates
This is a senior leadership role with specific personal and professional requirements:
1. Personal Demographics & Faith:
- Must be female.
- Age 40 and above.
- Must be a born-again and committed Christian. This is verified by a recommendation letter from a Parish Minister/Pastor.
2. Professional Qualifications:
- A Bachelor's Degree in Education or a Post Graduate Diploma in Education.
- A Master's Degree is an advantage.
- A valid TSC certificate is mandatory.
3. Experience:
- A minimum of 7 years of experience managing a secondary school of a similar status.
- Must have a proven track record of success.
- Proven team leadership and inspiration skills.
4. Skills and Knowledge:
- Excellent management, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent knowledge of the Kenyan education system and the CBC curriculum.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, work under pressure, and lead through change.
- Must be an innovative and creative thinker.
