Purpose for the Job
To protect and grow the International Medical portfolio through proactive client engagement, exceptional service delivery, trusted advisory support and the successful retention of corporate and individual clients.
Responsibilities or duties
- Manage the end-to-end renewal process for assigned corporate and individual International Private Medical Insurance (IPMI) accounts.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships to drive retention, satisfaction and portfolio growth.
- Identify and mitigate retention risks while coordinating solutions with insurers and internal stakeholders.
- Present renewal proposals and provide expert advice on benefits, cover options and policy changes.
- Identify opportunities for upselling, cross-selling and benefit enhancements across the portfolio.
- Maintain accurate client records, policy documentation and membership administration in line with service and compliance standards.
- Deliver prompt and effective resolution of client queries and complaints while maintaining exceptional service levels.
- Conduct regular client reviews and engagement activities to strengthen relationships and support long-term retention.
Qualifications or requirements (e.g., education, skills)

- Expertise in IPMI products, client servicing and account management.
- Strong relationship management and client retention capabilities.
- Commercial acumen with a focus on portfolio growth and business development.
- Ability to interpret and communicate technical insurance solutions effectively.
- Strong insurer relationship management and negotiation skills.
- Proactive problem-solving and risk management capabilities.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement, communication and analytical skills.
Knowledge And Skills Required
- At least 3 years’ relevant experience in a similar role within the IPMI industry.
- Experience in insurance client service management.
- Demonstrated track record in client retention and relationship management within a service-driven environment.
Professional and Academic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in a business-related field.
- Diploma in Insurance; AIIK or ACII.
