<p><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Reporting to the Senior Manager, Advisory, the role will be responsible for deal execution within the Advisory unit. This role will carry the responsibility for transaction structuring, transaction documentation and financial modelling.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;"><strong>KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: </strong></span></p>
<ul>
<li><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;"><strong>Transaction Structuring: </strong>Work with the Senior Manager and Head  of Advisory to execute mandates within debt capital markets, equities markets, Mergers &amp; Acquisitions in Kenya and across the wider East African region.</span></li>
<li><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;"><strong>Financial Modelling:</strong> Lead in financial modelling by applying best practices within financial modelling.</span></li>
<li><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;"><strong>Transaction Documentation</strong>: Develop and lead execution of Information Memorandum, Teaser Reports, Prospectus, Pitch books, valuation reports, Term Sheets amongst other transaction documentation.</span></li>
<li><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;"><strong>New business: </strong>Onboarding new business to ensure growth &amp; sustainability.</span></li>
<li><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;"><strong>Customer experience</strong>: Champion the delivery of consistent, seamless and trusted customer service to ensure customer retention and loyalty.</span></li>
<li><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;"><strong>Stakeholder management: </strong>Develop and maintain productive strategic relationships with key stakeholders and partners.</span></li>
<li><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;"><strong>Valuation and Due-diligence</strong>: Lead the team in valuation and due-diligence assignments.</span></li>
<li><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;"><strong>Relationship management</strong>: Maintaining of clients and investors relationships.</span></li>
<li><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;"><strong>People Management</strong>: Grow a high functioning analysts and Associates teams with deep capacity to execute capital markets, Mergers &amp;Acquisition transactions.</span></li>
<li><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;"><strong>Compliance:</strong> Monitor workflow activities to ensure compliance with regulations, policies, and procedures. Ensure procedures, TATs, SLAs, and audit items are maintained/ closed within deadlines.</span></li>
<li><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;"><strong>Industry awareness:</strong> Maintain a detailed and current understanding of the industry; (at a macro, sector specific, current market structures; regulatory requirements and issues) to ensure maximization and risk mitigation</span></li>
<li><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Tracking, management, and delivery of business needs on day-to-day basis </span></li>
<li><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Mentorship, motivation, coaching and alignment of direct reports </span></li>
<li><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Ensure all regulatory requirements are met by ensuring compliance with SLA’s.</span></li>

<ul>
<li><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">A holder of a bachelor’s degree from a recognized institution</span></li>
<li><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Possession of CIFA, CFA, CPA will be an added advantage</span></li>
<li><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Possession of a master’s degree in finance, Strategic planning or Business will be an added advantage</span></li>
<li><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">5 or more years’ Experience in investment banking, Corporate Banking, Private Equity and or structured corporate finance</span></li>
<li><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Minimum of 4 years’ experience in financial modelling</span></li>
<li><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Minimum of 4 years’ experience in Credit Analysis/Quants</span></li>
