About the role
- The Senior HR officer will be responsible for supporting the human resource function in delivering effective people management practices that align with the fast-paced business operations. The Senior HR Officer will coordinate recruitment, performance, employee relations, training, and compliance while ensuring a high-performance culture and employee engagement across all branches.
- This role demands a proactive and highly organized individual with excellent interpersonal skills, a solid grasp of HR best practices, and the ability to balance strategic initiatives with hands-on operational HR work.

Key Responsibilities
Talent Acquisition & Onboarding
- Collaborate with department heads to forecast staffing needs and develop job adverts.
- Oversee end-to-end recruitment processes to ensure timely hiring of qualified staff.
- Coordinate and participate in interviews and selection processes.
- Supervise onboarding and induction of new hires to ensure seamless integration.
Performance Management
- Monitor performance evaluation cycles i.e. probation and end of year and ensure timely reviews across all departments.
- Effectively track underperformance and support performance improvement plans.
- Track performance outcomes and recommend development or corrective actions as necessary.
HR Administration and Operations
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records (contracts, payroll data, leave records, performance reviews).
- Ensure HR data integrity in the HRMIS and other platforms.
- Manage HR documentation and ensure confidentiality of employee data.
- Monitor headcount, contract renewals, and probation confirmations.
Employee Relations & Welfare
- Serve as the first point of contact for employee grievances, concerns ensuring timely resolution in line with company policies and known best practices.
- Promote a positive workplace culture through engagement initiatives, team-building activities, and feedback mechanisms.
- Support disciplinary processes in line with labor laws and company policy.
- Manage for medical insurance enrolment and timely resolve all raised concerns.
Learning & Development
- Identify training needs in collaboration with department heads.
- Facilitate internal mobility and career development plans.
- Track progress on individual development plans and training outcomes.
- Coordinate and evaluate training programs to ensure alignment with business goals.
- Support the development and retention of high-potential employees.
- Support internal mentorship and coaching efforts.
Compliance & Policy Implementation
- Ensure HR policies and procedures are understood and followed by all staff.
- Keep the company compliant with local labor laws and regulatory requirements.
- Support internal and external audits from an HR perspective.
- Ensure all HR practices meet legal and ethical standards.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, Organizational Psychology, or related field.
- Professional HR certification (e.g., CHRP, CIPD, SHRM) is an added advantage.
- At least 3-4 years of progressive HR experience, preferably in a fast-paced or high-growth organization. Fintech/ Financial service environment will be an added advantage.

- Strong organizational, problem solving skills and co-ordination skills.
- High emotional intelligence and conflict resolution skills.
