Qualifications or requirements (e.g., education, skills)

• A master’s degree in Pharmaceutics or Industrial Pharmacy from a university recognized by the Commission for University Education, Kenya.
• PhD. In Pharmaceutics, Industrial Pharmacy or equivalent from a university recognized by the Commission for University Education, Kenya will be an added advantage.
• Bachelor in Pharmacy degree or equivalent from an accredited institution.
• The applicant should be registered and with a current practice license from the Pharmacy and Poisons Board of Kenya.

Experience needed

• Ten (10) Years work experience.
• Five (5) years teaching experience.
• At least three (3) years academic or research experience at University or research institution at Lecturer level.
• Three (3) publications in a refereed scholarly journal as a Lecturer.
• Supervised a minimum of three (3) post-graduate students to completion.

A competitive remuneration package, which includes basic salary, house allowance, and medical cover as per the University Scheme, will be provided.

Tutorial Fellows are employed on one (1) year renewable contract up to a maximum of three (3) years.
