The Climate Transition, ESG Data & Reporting Senior Manager, leads Axian Telecom’s Group‑wide climate strategy and ESG reporting architecture. The role ensures the Group meets international environmental and ESG disclosure standards, strengthens data governance across OpCos, and delivers a credible, forward‑looking Climate Transition Plan aligned with the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi) and emerging regulatory expectations.
Key Responsibilities
Climate transition strategy & delivery
- Lead the development, consolidation and annual update of Axian Telecom’s Climate Transition Plan.
- Ensure alignment with SBTi-approved targets.
- Coordinate OpCo’s climate action plans.
SG Data Governance & KPI System
- Design and improve the Group ESG KPI framework.
- Build a centralised ESG data system.
- Strengthen validation and quality-assurance processes.
ESG Reporting & Disclosure
- Lead ESG reporting and ensure compliance with IFRS S1/S2, CDP and other international and/or sectorial disclosure requirements and frameworks
- Manage annual ESG reporting cycles.
- Coordinate internal contributions and dashboards.
Carbon Footprint & Climate Data Management
- Oversee annual Group carbon footprint exercise.
- Support OpCo ESG coordinators and continuously train teams.
- Monitor progress against Scope 1, 2 and 3 targets.
- Report progress so it can be presented to the Group and OpCo steering committees
Climate risk & resilience
- Collaborate with Group Risk, business resilience and compliance teams to ensure climate risk assessment and scenario-based projections are well integrated into Group Risk framework
- Work with internal departments to quantify financial impacts of each scenario-based projection.
Internal Engagement & Capacity Building
- Raise awareness on ESG topics
- Organize internal training programmes and workshops.
Required Skills & Profile
- Strong expertise in climate strategy, GHG accounting, ESG reporting.
- Knowledge of international ESG reporting standards such as SBTi, IFRS S1/S2, GRI, CDP, TCFD.
- Experience in ESG data governance and KPI systems.
- Strong analytical and project-management skills.
- Master's degree and 6–10 years' experience.
- Fluency in French is a plus
