Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) is a next-generation cloud platform that delivers enterprise-grade compute, storage, networking, and database services to power a wide range of applications and services. OCI is built on an engineered system that combines the autonomous database, high-performance computing, and a secure, scalable architecture.

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Senior Manager, Cloud Infrastructure Engineering to lead a team of talented engineers responsible for the design, development, and operation of OCI's core infrastructure services. This is a critical role that will have a significant impact on the success of OCI and Oracle's cloud strategy.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of cloud infrastructure engineers, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
• Oversee the design, development, deployment, and operation of OCI's core infrastructure services, including compute, storage, networking, and database.
• Ensure the scalability, reliability, performance, and security of OCI's infrastructure.
• Collaborate with product management, development, and operations teams to define and deliver new features and services.
• Develop and implement best practices for infrastructure automation, monitoring, and incident management.
• Manage the team's roadmap, priorities, and resources to meet business objectives.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in cloud computing and infrastructure engineering.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience in leading and managing engineering teams.
• Extensive experience in designing, building, and operating large-scale cloud infrastructure.
• Deep understanding of cloud computing concepts, including IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS.
• Strong knowledge of distributed systems, networking, storage, and database technologies.
• Experience with infrastructure automation tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible) and CI/CD pipelines.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.

Experience

• Minimum of 8 years of experience in cloud infrastructure engineering, with at least 3 years in a management role.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) is a plus.
• Experience with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
