Role Overview:
The Senior Manager, Credit Monitoring will oversee the bank’s credit monitoring function, ensuring early detection of credit risks, non-performing loans (NPLs) and ensuring appropriate remedial action is taken. Reporting to senior leadership, the role will drive effective monitoring frameworks, governance and portfolio oversight for the credit portfolio.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement credit monitoring frameworks, including KPIs and early warning indicators
• Monitor credit portfolios across products, geographies and business units for signs of deterioration
• Lead investigations into delinquent exposures and work with recovery and workout teams to address risk
• Provide regular reporting to the Credit Committee and senior management on portfolio status and trends
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies pertaining to credit monitoring
• Coach and mentor monitoring analysts, and coordinate cross-functional teams to mitigate emerging credit risk
