Today, Pwani Oil Product modern state of the art factory at Jomvu, Mombasa, has expanded and has a capacity to refine over 620 metric tonnes of oil a day, prepared to the highest international standards. Adding to this, Pwani Oil Products new production facility at Kikambala has impacted the washing and cleaning industry with excellent laundry and bathing soaps, which is to the highest quality. Responsibilities or duties

Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue and market share targets.

Lead and coach Sales Managers while aligning sales objectives across channels.

Identify new market opportunities and recommend competitive pricing strategies.

Collaborate with R&D and Marketing on new product development, launch planning, and route-to-market strategies.

Drive product visibility through promotional campaigns and brand-building initiatives.

Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, distributors, and business partners.

Identify and remove operational barriers affecting sales performance through cross-functional collaboration.

Optimize utilization of sales resources, including vehicles, sales applications, and customer investments.

Monitor market trends, competition, and product pricing to maximize profitability.

Identify sales risks, implement mitigation measures, and ensure business continuity.

Recruit, develop, mentor, and retain top sales talent while fostering a high-performance culture.

Set team objectives, conduct performance reviews, and promote continuous learning and improvement.

Qualifications or requirements (e.g., education, skills)

  • Bachelor's degree in Sales & Marketing, Business Administration, Commerce, or a related field.
  • A Master's degree in Business Administration (MBA) or a related discipline is an added advantage.
  • Professional qualifications in Sales, Marketing, or Leadership are an added advantage.
  • Must be a member of the Marketing Society of Kenya (MSK).

Experience needed

At least 15 years' proven experience in FMCG sales, including senior sales leadership roles.

Dynamic and results-driven professional with extensive experience in driving sales growth, building relatandhips, and delivering measurable results.
