CDL was founded in early 2003 by its current Managing Director Lucy Mmari.Within her 14 year tenure in a well established logistics company, She honed her skill in human resources management and thereafter started CDL.
Duties and Responsibilities
Strategy & Planning
- Develop annual group marketing strategy aligned to business targets
- Create brand positioning for each company
- Define target customer segments and value propositions
- Develop campaign calendars for all brands
- Prepare and manage marketing budget
Revenue & Lead Generation
- Build structured lead generation funnels
- Support sales with marketing materials and pitch decks
- Design B2B acquisition campaigns
- Track and optimize cost per lead
- Support tender visibility and market intelligence
Brand Management
- Standardize brand identity across all companies
- Ensure consistent messaging and visual alignment
- Manage website, social media, PR and digital presence
- Develop thought leadership positioning for leadership team
Digital & Performance Marketing
- Manage digital campaigns (LinkedIn, Google, etc.)
- Oversee content creation (case studies, brochures, newsletters)
- Improve website traffic and conversion rates
- Implement CRM / lead tracking system
Market Intelligence
- Competitor analysis
- Industry trend tracking
- Customer feedback analysis
- Recommend new product or service positioning
Team & Vendor Management
- Manage designers, agencies, content creators where needed
Qualifications & Experience
- Degree in Marketing, Business, Communications or related field
- 5–8 years’ experience in B2B marketing
- Experience managing multiple brands
- Strong digital marketing capability
- Data-driven and commercially oriented
- Strong presentation and strategic thinking skills
