Qualifications or requirements (e.g., education, skills)
- Be a Kenyan citizen;
- Be a holder of a Degree of Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBChB.) from an institution recognized in Kenya;
- Must have completed a Master’s Degree in Imaging and Radiology from an institution recognized in Kenya;
- Registered as a Medical/Specialist Practitioner by Medical Practitioners and Dentist Council;
- Have a Valid Practicing License;
- Be of acceptable moral and professional standing;
- Willing to undertake duties in person in any part of Tharaka Nithi
- Certificate in computer application skills from an institution recognized in Kenya.
Responsibilities or duties
The Radiologist shall be responsible to the employer and the supervisor for the following:
- Apply the principles and procedures of modern medicine in Imaging and Radiologic Diagnostics;
- Provide Medical Imaging reports to other Medical Personnel;
- Head Radiology Medicine Department in the County;
- Advise the County on Imaging and Radiological Diagnosis and Management from time to time;
- Conduct medical education and research activities in clinical area of work;
- Participate in the development of procedures for the department;
- Make decisions regarding work processes based on established guidelines;
- Prioritize and organize work to meet changing conditions and any other roles and responsibilities that may be assigned from time to time;
- Any other duty that may be assigned by the supervisor.

Integrity Clearance
Successful applicants are expected to get clearance from the following bodies.
- Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA)
- Credit Reference Bureau (CRB)

- Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC)
- Directorate of Criminal Investigation (DCI)
- For those with higher education certificates (degrees) from outside Kenya, a letter of recognition of qualifications from the Commission of University Education.
