Key Responsibilities
- Product Research: Gathering physiological and pharmacological information on our products and compiling it for use in effective communication to internal and external stakeholders
- Market Research and Data Analytics: Gather qualitative and quantitative data on market trends, customers’ needs and analyze the information for decision making.
- Sales force Effectiveness: Conduct effective product knowledge and selling skills training to the sales team and follow up with field visits to ensure effective brand strategy implementation.
- ROI assessment for the marketing initiatives: Continuously assess the impact of all marketing initiatives and activities and ensure returns to the business.
- Pipeline Development: In consultation with respective internal departments, and external Key Opinion Leaders, provide important information for new products launches and lifecycle management of existing brands.
- Coaching: Guiding Product Managers and Junior Product Managers, departmental interns and Medical Representatives, through their requisite responsibilities and career progression.
- Cross functional collaboration: Effectively and timely consult and communicate plans and strategies to the sales team and corporate leadership to ensure alignment
- Partners Engagement: Strategize and coordinate the delivery the corporate and brands value proposition to the external partners, such as Key Opinion Leaders, medical professional associations, hospital and institutional leaders through various channels that are approved and compliant.
- Product Strategy and Road Mapping: Develop and execute clear brands’ strategies that align to the company’s vision and mission and timely delivery at all stages of the brands’ roadmaps.
- Development of Marketing Materials: Lead and coordinate creations, design and procurement of promotional materials that effectively communicate the products value proposition and corporate image.
- Promotional Activities: Lead the planning and execution of marketing and promotional activities in coordination with the sales team.
- Budget Management: Optimize the allocation and use of the marketing budget to maximize return on investments.
Qualifications and Experience:
Must Have: Minimum Requirements
To be considered, these minimum requirements must be evident on your resume.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in life sciences related field
- A minimum of 10 years’ experience in pharmaceutical sales and marketing, with at least 2 years in sales/marketing leadership position
- Demonstrate a good understanding of anatomy and pharmacology principles
- Good understanding of the pharmaceutical industry and health systems trends
- Must be details oriented and with good analytical skills
- Has demonstrated strong interpersonal skills and exceptional communication abilities
- Strong in use of Excel, PowerPoint and other computer applications
- Have a passion for storytelling and training
