Roles & Responsibilities:

Support the development, reformulation, and optimization of decorative, industrial, and automotive coating products.

Conduct laboratory testing, formulation trials, and product evaluations to ensure quality, performance, and compliance with technical specifications.

Maintain accurate laboratory records, formulation documentation, test reports, and experimental data.

Perform quality control testing on raw materials, in-process materials, and finished products, and investigate product quality issues through laboratory analysis.

Participate in pilot production trials and provide technical support to resolve manufacturing and formulation challenges.

Collaborate with Quality Assurance, Production, Technical Service, and Sales teams to support product development, customer trials, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Evaluate alternative raw materials and formulation improvements to enhance product performance and achieve cost optimization.

Provide technical support during customer site applications and communicate field feedback to support product enhancements.

Ensure compliance with Health, Safety, Environment (SHE), ESG, ERM, Kaizen, and all laboratory safety and environmental standards.

Maintain laboratory equipment, facilities, and workspaces in a safe, clean, and operational condition.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Industrial Chemistry, Applied Chemistry, or a related field.

3–5 years' experience in the paint, coatings, or related chemical industry.

Knowledge of formulation, product development, raw materials, SDS, and laboratory testing methods.

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word for laboratory documentation and reporting.
