Role Overview
We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Senior Storekeeper / Logistics Coordinator to join our team in Nairobi, Kenya. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing warehouse operations, ensuring efficient inventory control, and coordinating logistics activities to support our supply chain.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, and dispatching goods.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and conduct regular stocktakes.
- Implement and enforce warehouse safety procedures.
- Coordinate with transportation providers to ensure timely delivery of goods.
- Manage a team of warehouse staff, providing training and supervision.
- Optimize warehouse layout and processes for efficiency.
- Prepare reports on inventory levels, stock movements, and logistics performance.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in warehouse management and logistics coordination.
- Proven experience with inventory management systems.
- Strong understanding of logistics and supply chain principles.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
