Responsibilities or duties

• In charge of the laboratory and supervision of other laboratory staff;
• Assist in supervision of research projects in the laboratory;
• Prepare course work materials and lessons to students’ practical in the University;
• Prepare and manage students’ laboratory work for practical lessons in the Department;
• Ensuring safety and security of laboratory apparatus and equipment;
• Supervise post graduate and undergraduate students working on academic projects in the Department; and
• Any other duty as assigned by supervisor from time to time.

Qualifications or requirements (e.g., education, skills)

• Higher Diploma/Bachelor of Science in Medical Laboratory Science, Microbiology or any other medical field;
• A registered member of a relevant professional body with a valid practicing license; and
• Proficiency in relevant computer applications.

Experience needed

• At least Three (3) years relevant work experience in a medical field;

Work Hours: 8

Experience in Months: 48

Level of Education: bachelor degree
