Our client is a growing retail fashion business with four shops in Nairobi CBD and a thriving online store, offering a curated range of quality fashion products to both walk-in and online customers. They are seeking an experienced Shop Manager to lead their in-store team, enhance customer experience, and drive sales performance.
Role Summary:
The Shop Manager will oversee daily operations of the store, manage and motivate the sales team, and ensure excellent customer service. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in retail fashion, demonstrate leadership skills, and possess a keen eye for store presentation and sales growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage daily store operations, ensuring smooth functioning and adherence to company standards.
- Lead, coach, and motivate the in-store sales team to achieve individual and store sales targets.
- Deliver exceptional customer service by resolving issues and ensuring a welcoming environment.
- Monitor inventory levels, stock replenishment, and visual merchandising standards.
- Analyze sales performance and provide regular reports to senior management.
- Implement and maintain operational procedures and compliance with company policies.
Requirements:
- Diploma in Business Management or related field.
- Minimum of 3–5 years’ experience in retail management, preferably in fashion.
- Strong leadership, coaching, and team management skills.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Results-driven with a proven track record of achieving sales targets.
- Ability to maintain store standards in merchandising, organization, and cleanliness.
- Age 30 years and above preferred.
