SITE MANAGER
Job Purpose
The Site Manager will oversee the day-to-day operations of construction sites, ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, on schedule, within budget, and according to required quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, coordinate, and supervise daily construction activities.
- Manage workers, subcontractors, and site teams.
- Interpret drawings, specifications, and construction plans.
- Monitor project progress against schedules and targets.
- Ensure construction work meets approved quality standards.
- Enforce health, safety, and environmental procedures on site.
- Coordinate the delivery and use of materials, tools, and equipment.
- Identify and resolve construction challenges promptly.
- Maintain accurate site records, reports, and documentation.
- Coordinate with engineers, architects, clients, and other project stakeholders.
- Monitor materials and minimize wastage.
- Conduct site inspections and ensure proper housekeeping.
- Report project progress, challenges, and resource requirements to management.
Qualifications & Skills
- Relevant qualification in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Building Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience in construction site supervision/management.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods and site safety.
- Good leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple activities and meet deadlines.
