SITE MANAGER

Job Purpose

The Site Manager will oversee the day-to-day operations of construction sites, ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, on schedule, within budget, and according to required quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, coordinate, and supervise daily construction activities.
  • Manage workers, subcontractors, and site teams.
  • Interpret drawings, specifications, and construction plans.
  • Monitor project progress against schedules and targets.
  • Ensure construction work meets approved quality standards.
  • Enforce health, safety, and environmental procedures on site.
  • Coordinate the delivery and use of materials, tools, and equipment.
  • Identify and resolve construction challenges promptly.
  • Maintain accurate site records, reports, and documentation.
  • Coordinate with engineers, architects, clients, and other project stakeholders.
  • Monitor materials and minimize wastage.
  • Conduct site inspections and ensure proper housekeeping.
  • Report project progress, challenges, and resource requirements to management.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Relevant qualification in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Building Technology, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in construction site supervision/management.
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods and site safety.
  • Good leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple activities and meet deadlines.
