Responsibilities
As a Specialist Radiologist, you will be responsible for interpreting medical images, performing diagnostic procedures, and providing expert consultations to referring physicians. Your duties will include:
- Interpreting a wide range of radiological examinations, including X-rays, CT scans, MRIs, ultrasounds, and mammograms.
- Performing interventional radiology procedures as required.
- Collaborating with other medical professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Maintaining accurate and detailed patient records.
- Staying updated with the latest advancements in radiology.
Qualifications and Experience
The ideal candidate will possess:
- A Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBChB) degree or equivalent.
- A Master of Medicine (MMed) in Radiology or equivalent postgraduate qualification.
- Current registration with the Kenya Medical Practitioners and Dentists Board (KMPDB).
- A minimum of 3 years of post-internship experience in radiology.
- Proficiency in various imaging modalities and reporting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
