Responsibilities or duties

  • Receive, inspect, and record incoming electrical materials and general stock
  • Store items properly to ensure safety and easy retrieval (especially electrical components)
  • Issue materials to technicians and departments based on approved requisitions
  • Maintain accurate inventory records (manual and/or system-based)
  • Monitor stock levels and report shortages or reorder needs
  • Conduct regular stock counts and audits
  • Ensure proper labeling and categorization of electrical items (cables, breakers, switches, etc.)
  • Follow safety procedures when handling electrical equipment and tools
  • Coordinate with procurement and maintenance teams
  • Keep the store clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards

Qualifications or requirements (e.g., education, skills)

  • Diploma or certificate in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Installation, or related field
  • Basic understanding of electrical components and tools
  • Familiarity with inventory management

Experience needed

Proven experience in storekeeping, inventory, or warehouse operations
