ABOUT THE ROLE
The Store Attendant will manage the receipt, storage, and issuance of pharmaceutical products and supplies, ensuring accurate inventory control and compliance with pharmaceutical storage standards.
KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Receive, inspect, count, and record all incoming stock and supplies
- Maintain accurate stock records, bin cards, and stock movement registers
- Ensure proper pharmaceutical storage conditions including temperature monitoring
- Issue stock items as authorised and update stock cards accordingly
- Conduct regular stock counts, cycle counts, and annual inventory audits
- Report and document stock discrepancies, damages, and expired products
- Maintain the store in a clean, organised, and FIFO-compliant manner
- Support logistics team with dispatch preparation and delivery documentation
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum KCSE / Form 4 — Grade C and above
- Certificate in Store Management, Procurement, Supply Chain, or related field preferred
- Knowledge of inventory management, stock control, and FIFO principles
- Physically fit, honest, reliable, and able to handle pharmaceutical products carefully
- Previous experience in a warehouse, pharmacy, or pharmaceutical store is preferred
- Ability to work flexible hours including early morning shifts
