JOB DETAILS:
REA Vipingo Plantations Ltd is the leading Sisal Producer in East Africa and operates Large Scale status in Kenya and Tanzania.
The company invites applications from suitably Qualified Kenyan Citizens to fill the vacant position of a Stores Supervisor in one of its Estates in Kenya.

JOB PURPOSE "
The Stores Supervisor will be responsible for planning and overseeing the day-to—day activities involved in materials, tools &equipment sourcing from suppliers, quality assurance and stores management activities in the Estate's main Store.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Responsible for the procurement and replenishment of stock.
  
• Responsible for maintaining the store's inventory.
  
• Plan and execute daily operations so as to achieve set objectives.
  
• Actively engage with other departments to resolve supply issues quickly and efficiently.
  
• Oversee stores management to ensure no loss, wrong delivery and distribution of materials.
  
• Consider the potential supply risks from the supply base and proactively remove or minimize the risks
  

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• Degree in Procurement/Supply Chain Management or any other Business related degree.
  
• Diploma in Supply Chain Management
  
• At least Five (5) years’ experience working in Supply Chain
  
• Must be a paid up member of Kenya Institute of Supply Management (KISM) OR Chartered Institute of Purchasing (CIP)
  
• Able to work with minimal supervision.

• Must be computer literate.
  
• Possess good managementskills.
  
• Good forecasting & Analytical skills
  
• Personal qualities of Integrity, credibility and dedication.
