Responsibilities or duties
Strategy Development & Execution
- Support the CEO in refining and implementing the overall business strategy aligned to growth and profitability objectives.
- Drive enterprise-wide strategy execution, ensuring alignment across all departments.
- Translate strategic priorities into clear action plans, KPIs, and performance tracking frameworks.
- Monitor progress and ensure timely delivery of strategic initiatives.
Business Growth & Diversification
- Lead initiatives to drive revenue growth and diversification, particularly expanding into new and more profitable business lines.
- Support the transition from traditional revenue streams to sustainable and higher-margin opportunities.
- Identify and evaluate new business opportunities, partnerships, and market expansion initiatives.
Digital & Innovation Strategy
- Champion the integration of digital and AI-driven solutions to enhance operational efficiency and customer experience.
- Support innovation in areas such as claims management, digital distribution, and data-driven decision-making.
Performance Management & Alignment
- Establish and drive a strategy performance management framework, including tracking of key business metrics.
- Ensure all departments are aligned to strategic priorities and accountable for delivery.
- Facilitate regular strategy review sessions with leadership and provide actionable insights.
Stakeholder Engagement
- Act as a key advisor to the CEO and leadership team on strategic direction and business performance.
- Engage cross-functional teams to ensure collaboration and alignment in strategy execution.
- Prepare and present strategic updates and insights to senior leadership and relevant board committees.
Success Measures (6–12 Months)
- Clear understanding and refinement of the current business strategy
- Demonstrated alignment of all departments to strategic priorities
- Effective tracking and execution of key strategic initiatives
- Tangible progress in business growth, cost optimization, and diversification efforts
- Strengthened strategic focus across functions (e.g., shifting from reactive to proactive decision-making)
Qualifications or requirements

- Analytical Skills: Ability to interpret data and generate actionable insights

Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, Strategy, Marketing, or a related field
- A Master’s Degree is an added advantage
- Demonstrated experience in strategy development and execution, preferably within financial services or a related sector.
- Strong business acumen with exposure to growth, transformation, or consulting environments
- Experience in driving cross-functional initiatives and influencing senior stakeholders
