JOB DETAILS:
A large construction company involved in Electrical, Power, water and civil engineering and construction wishes to recruit a highly competent self-driven candidate for the following vacant position:

STRUCTURAL ENGINEER
The Structural Engineer will participate in projects design and management to completion.

Responsibilities:-

• Majoring in all aspects of structural engineering including input into multi-disciplinary projects.
  
• Complete overview of a proposed project in determining various parameters.
  
• Conduct regular site inspections.
  
• Staying abreast of industry developments and changes as regards standards.
  
• Co-coordinating and reporting regular review of detailed budget of the structural engineering activities
  
• Reviewing the structural engineering designs and drawings to projects on a regular basis.
  
• Allocating the available resources for the project.
  
• Participating in the site meetings.
  
• Presenting information professionally to key stake holders
  
• Adherence to workplace health and safety policy.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Structures Engineering option.
  
• At least 5 years‘ experience in Structural Engineering with a Consultancy Engineering Firm.
  
• Knowledge and understanding of the principles of safety design.
  
• Competent in structural engineering computer software.
  
• Excellent in communication and report writing skills.
