ROLE SUMMARY

As a Subject Teacher, you will plan and deliver high-quality lessons, assess and monitor student progress, and contribute to the academic life of the school. You will work collaboratively with colleagues to maintain our standards of excellence.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons aligned to the CBE curriculum
  • Set and mark assessments, provide timely and constructive feedback to students
  • Track and report on student progress, identifying those who need additional support
  • Maintain a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment
  • Participate in staff meetings, professional development, and school events
  • Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding student performance
  • Uphold school policies on behaviour, safeguarding, and wellbeing

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) or a degree with a Postgraduate Diploma in Education (PGDE)
  • TSC registration (current and valid)
  • Minimum 2 years of classroom teaching experience preferred
  • Strong command of the subject area(s) being applied for
  • Ability to teach subject combinations is required — please specify in your application

Knowledge of additional curricula such as IGCSE or IB will be considered a distinct advantage.
