ROLE SUMMARY
As a Subject Teacher, you will plan and deliver high-quality lessons, assess and monitor student progress, and contribute to the academic life of the school. You will work collaboratively with colleagues to maintain our standards of excellence.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons aligned to the CBE curriculum
- Set and mark assessments, provide timely and constructive feedback to students
- Track and report on student progress, identifying those who need additional support
- Maintain a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment
- Participate in staff meetings, professional development, and school events
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding student performance
- Uphold school policies on behaviour, safeguarding, and wellbeing
QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) or a degree with a Postgraduate Diploma in Education (PGDE)
- TSC registration (current and valid)
- Minimum 2 years of classroom teaching experience preferred
- Strong command of the subject area(s) being applied for
- Ability to teach subject combinations is required — please specify in your application
Knowledge of additional curricula such as IGCSE or IB will be considered a distinct advantage.
