JOB DETAILS:
Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled Tailor to create, alter, and repair uniforms for staff or costumes for events. You will ensure that garments fit perfectly and maintain high-quality stitching standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Take measurements and fit garments to clients or staff.
- Perform alterations (hemming, taking in seams, adjusting waistbands).
- Repair tears, replace zippers, and mend buttons.
- Sew custom uniforms or costumes from scratch.
- Operate industrial sewing machines and overlockers.
- Maintain an organized inventory of fabrics and thread.
- Advise clients on fabric selection and care.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Diploma or certification in Fashion Design/Tailoring.
- Proven experience in alterations and pattern making.
- Attention to detail and precision.
- Good time management skills.
