Job Context
This role is based in a Ultra Luxury Beachfront Hotel in Mombasa. The position requires a skilled individual to manage and oversee the tailoring operations within the hotel, ensuring high standards of quality and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
The primary responsibility of the Tailor is to create, alter, and repair garments to meet the specific needs of hotel guests and staff. This includes taking measurements, understanding design requirements, and executing precise stitching and finishing.
Qualifications
Candidates must possess a strong understanding of tailoring techniques, fabric types, and garment construction. Proficiency in using sewing machines and other tailoring equipment is essential. A keen eye for detail and the ability to work with precision are required.
Experience
Previous experience in tailoring, preferably in a hospitality or fashion environment, is highly desirable.
