Responsibilities or duties
- Prepare Corporate Tax Returns: Guide students through the process of calculating taxable income and preparing accurate corporate tax submissions.
- Analyze Tax Treaties: Instruct on the application of double taxation agreements to structures involving cross-border business transactions.
- Develop Tax Avoidance Strategies: Teach legal tax avoidance methods, as opposed to illegal evasion, leveraging deductions and exemptions.
- Manage VAT Systems: Train students on the mechanisms of registering for VAT, calculating input and output tax, and filing returns.
- Apply Tax on Specific Sectors: Teach the unique tax rules applicable to specific sectors like agriculture, manufacturing, or telecommunications.
- Navigate Tax Audits: Instruct on how to prepare documentation, respond to queries from tax authorities, and survive a tax audit.
