Background

Population Services Kenya (PSK) is a not-for-profit organization committed to providing access to quality reproductive health and family planning services and products. PSK is a member of the Population Services International (PSI) network.

PSK is seeking to recruit a qualified, experienced, and self-motivated individual to fill the position of Technical Assistant, Franchise Quality Assurance (QA).

Responsibilities

The Technical Assistant, Franchise Quality Assurance (QA) will be responsible for the following:

  • Support the Franchise QA Manager in implementing and monitoring quality assurance standards across all PSK franchises.
  • Conduct regular site visits and assessments to ensure compliance with QA protocols.
  • Identify areas of non-compliance and recommend corrective actions.
  • Assist in training franchise staff on QA procedures and best practices.
  • Maintain accurate records of QA assessments and activities.
  • Contribute to the development and improvement of QA tools and guidelines.
  • Provide technical support to franchises on quality-related issues.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

  • Diploma or Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Public Health, Nursing, Pharmacy, or a related discipline.
  • At least 1-2 years of experience in quality assurance, preferably within the healthcare or family planning sector.
  • Knowledge of quality assurance principles and practices.
  • Familiarity with reproductive health services and products.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Willingness to travel within Kenya.
