Background
Population Services Kenya (PSK) is a not-for-profit organization committed to providing access to quality reproductive health and family planning services and products. PSK is a member of the Population Services International (PSI) network.
PSK is seeking to recruit a qualified, experienced, and self-motivated individual to fill the position of Technical Assistant, Franchise Quality Assurance (QA).
Responsibilities
The Technical Assistant, Franchise Quality Assurance (QA) will be responsible for the following:
- Support the Franchise QA Manager in implementing and monitoring quality assurance standards across all PSK franchises.
- Conduct regular site visits and assessments to ensure compliance with QA protocols.
- Identify areas of non-compliance and recommend corrective actions.
- Assist in training franchise staff on QA procedures and best practices.
- Maintain accurate records of QA assessments and activities.
- Contribute to the development and improvement of QA tools and guidelines.
- Provide technical support to franchises on quality-related issues.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Public Health, Nursing, Pharmacy, or a related discipline.
- At least 1-2 years of experience in quality assurance, preferably within the healthcare or family planning sector.
- Knowledge of quality assurance principles and practices.
- Familiarity with reproductive health services and products.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Willingness to travel within Kenya.
