JOB DETAILS:

Qualifications and skills    

• Competence in the use of Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS), Microsoft Office, and digital laboratory equipment is required.
• A Bachelor’s Degree in Medical Laboratory Sciences from a recognized institution. Additional certification in specialized areas
• Demonstrated proficiency in core medical laboratory disciplines
• Competence in the use of Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS), Microsoft Office, and digital laboratory equipment is required.
• Sound knowledge of ISO 15189:2022 standards, biosafety and biosecurity protocols, and good laboratory practice (GLP) is essential.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, integrity, attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• At least three (3) years of post-qualification laboratory experience in a reputable healthcare, academic, or research institution. Experience in a university or teaching hospital laboratory setting will be an added advantage.
• Must be registered and licensed by the Kenya Medical Laboratory Technicians and Technologists Board (KMLTTB).
