Looking for a medical job in Kenya? Lions Medical Centre is hiring a Theater Scrub Nurse to assist during surgical procedures and support surgical teams in delivering quality patient care. The role is based in Mombasa and a valid nursing qualification is required.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare the operating theatre before surgery and ensure sterility standards are maintained.
• Scrub in and assist surgeons during surgical procedures.
• Ensure availability and proper handling of surgical instruments and supplies.
• Observe and maintain infection prevention and control practices.
• Document and report theatre activities accurately.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Nursing and Midwifery.
• Certificate in Theatre Nursing is an added advantage.
• Valid practicing license from the Nursing Council of Kenya.
• Good teamwork, attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.

Experience in Months: 12

Level of Education: professional certificate
