The role provides practical training and hands-on experience in medical equipment management and diagnostic technology.

Responsibilities

  • Test medical laboratory equipment before delivery to customers to ensure quality, safety, and functionality.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in the event of equipment failure.
  • Conduct routine and preventive maintenance of equipment installed in customer hospitals to ensure optimal performance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support project implementation and technical objectives.
  • Maintain accurate technical documentation in compliance with regulatory and quality standards.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Diploma or Degree in Medical Engineering or a related engineering field.
  • Minimum of 2–3 years’ relevant experience in medical engineering, preferably in the in vitro diagnostics or medical device industry.

Preferred Skills

  • Strong understanding of the basic principles of electronic boards and systems.
  • Ability to read and interpret fluidic schematics.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
  • Familiarity with regulatory standards within the medical device industry.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within teams.
  • Experience working with laboratory equipment and diagnostic technologies.
  • Knowledge of quality assurance and quality control processes.
  • Proficiency in relevant engineering software and technical tools.
