The role provides practical training and hands-on experience in medical equipment management and diagnostic technology.
Responsibilities
- Test medical laboratory equipment before delivery to customers to ensure quality, safety, and functionality.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in the event of equipment failure.
- Conduct routine and preventive maintenance of equipment installed in customer hospitals to ensure optimal performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support project implementation and technical objectives.
- Maintain accurate technical documentation in compliance with regulatory and quality standards.
Qualifications and Experience
- Diploma or Degree in Medical Engineering or a related engineering field.
- Minimum of 2–3 years’ relevant experience in medical engineering, preferably in the in vitro diagnostics or medical device industry.
Preferred Skills
- Strong understanding of the basic principles of electronic boards and systems.
- Ability to read and interpret fluidic schematics.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with regulatory standards within the medical device industry.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within teams.
- Experience working with laboratory equipment and diagnostic technologies.
- Knowledge of quality assurance and quality control processes.
- Proficiency in relevant engineering software and technical tools.
