CSCEC is seeking to recruit experienced Tyreman to join our dynamic team.

Position: - Tyremen - 1

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct daily inspections of tyres on all project vehicles and equipment.
• Check tyre pressure, tread depth, wear patterns, cuts, punctures, and sidewall damage.
• Identify and report abnormal tyre wear or defects requiring corrective action.
• Maintain recommended tyre pressures according to manufacturer specifications.
• Remove, repair, and replace damaged or worn-out tyres and tubes.
• Perform tyre patching, vulcanizing, and puncture repairs where applicable.
• Fit and remove tyres using appropriate tyre-changing equipment and tools.
• Replace tyre valves, rims, and related components as required.

Required Qualifications

• Certificate or training in tyre fitting or automotive mechanics is an added advantage.
• At least 2-3 years of experience in tyre fitting and repair for heavy construction equipment such as graders, excavators, loaders, rollers, dump trucks, and trucks.
• Knowledge of tyre maintenance, puncture repair, wheel balancing, and tyre replacement.
• Ability to safely use tyre-changing equipment, hydraulic jacks, air compressors, and other workshop tools.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a maintenance team.
