Description

We are seeking a User Researcher with strong quantitative data analysis skills to join our growing Product & UX Research team. In this role, you will be responsible for generating data-driven insights that inform product decisions and enhance the usability of Transsion’s mobile products. You will work across teams to design rigorous studies, analyze complex datasets, and translate findings into actionable recommendations that improve the experience of millions of users. Your research will help shape the design and usability of Transsion’s smartphones, software, and services to ensure seamless user experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, plan, and execute quantitative and mixed-methods UX research to uncover user behavior, needs, and pain points.
  • Conduct usability tests, surveys, experiments, A/B tests, benchmarking studies, and data-driven evaluations.
  • Analyze large datasets using statistical methods to identify patterns, validate hypotheses, and measure product performance.
  • Collaborate with product managers, designers, engineers, and data teams to integrate insights throughout the product development lifecycle.
  • Create clear, compelling dashboards, reports, and presentations that translate data into strategic product recommendations.
  • Develop personas, journey maps, and user models that are grounded in quantitative evidence.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, UX measurement frameworks, and emerging quantitative research methodologies.
  • Advocate for a data-informed, user-centered design culture within TECNO Mobile.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Statistics, Data Science, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Psychology, Design, Anthropology, or a related field.
  • Experience: At least 2 years of experience in UX research, human-centered design, or a similar field.
  • Research Skills: Strong command of quantitative research methods, including survey design, statistical testing, behavioral analytics, and experimental design.
  • Proficiency in analyzing data using tools such as Excel, MS suites, G-Suites or relevant statistical packages.
  • Familiarity with mixed-methods approaches and ability to integrate qualitative insights when needed.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present findings to stakeholders effectively.
  • Collaboration: Experience working with cross-functional teams, including designers, engineers, and product managers.
  • Problem-Solving: Ability to turn complex data into actionable recommendations.
