Video Editor

Job Summary
We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Video Editor to produce engaging, high-quality video content that communicates the organization's brand, activities, products, and stories. The successful candidate will transform raw footage into compelling visual content for digital and social media platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Edit raw video footage into professional and engaging videos.
• Create content for social media, marketing campaigns, events, and other communication channels.
• Add music, sound effects, graphics, captions, transitions, and other visual elements.
• Ensure videos align with the organization's brand identity and communication objectives.
• Review and organize video footage, audio, images, and other digital assets.
• Collaborate with content creators, marketing teams, and other departments to develop video concepts.
• Maintain consistency in video quality, style, and messaging.
• Make revisions based on feedback and ensure timely delivery of projects.
• Keep up to date with current video-editing techniques, trends, and social-media formats.
• Maintain an organized archive of completed and raw video projects.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Certificate, Diploma, or Degree in Film Production, Multimedia, Digital Media, Communications, or a related field.
• Demonstrable experience in video editing and content production.
• Proficiency in video-editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro, or similar tools.
• Strong creativity and attention to detail.
• Good understanding of social media video formats and trends.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
