Background
The International Humanity Foundation (IHF) is a global non-profit organization dedicated to educating and empowering disadvantaged children and communities worldwide. With volunteers working across five continents, IHF promotes ethical leadership, cross-cultural collaboration, and sustainable development.
We are currently seeking proactive, detail-oriented, and tech-savvy volunteers to join our Website Team.
Role Overview
The Website Team is the "Digital Backbone" of IHF. Your mission is to ensure our global platform is functional, up-to-date, and optimized for donors, volunteers, and partners. You manage everything from publishing the latest success stories from our centers to ensuring our donation portals are secure and user-friendly.
Key Responsibilities:
- Content Management: Update and maintain website pages with new photos, reports, and blog posts from our centers in Kenya, Thailand, and Indonesia.
- UI/UX Optimization: Improve the user experience to ensure potential volunteers and donors can find information easily.
- Technical Maintenance: Monitor site performance, fix broken links, and ensure mobile responsiveness.
- SEO & Visibility: Implement basic SEO strategies to ensure IHF appears at the top of search results for humanitarian work.
- Lead Responsibility – Training & Mentorship: Develop and lead training sessions for new members on using our CMS (Content Management System), basic HTML/CSS, and web accessibility standards.
Ideal Candidate:
- Proficient in web platforms (e.g., WordPress, Wix, or custom CMS).
- Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, or SEO principles.
- Strong organizational skills with a "perfectionist" eye for digital layout.
- Analytical mindset (comfortable using Google Analytics to track site traffic).
- Interested in Web Development, Digital Marketing, or Information Technology.
