Mission Description
Based in Nairobi and reporting to the General manager-SEZ, the candidate will be required to plan and coordinate warehousing activities, ensure safe custody and handling of Clients' cargo in the warehouse with specific deliverables as:-
- Monitor and approve receipt and release of Clients' goods
- Submit periodic reports on stock movement to customers
- Ensure ISO procedures are followed and targets met
- Approve customers' invoices for services rendered
- Prepare departmental budget for gross margins and expenses and ensure the set budget is achieved
- Prepare periodic reports for management
- Handle customer issues and ensure satisfaction and retention
- Prepare bond returns to KRA
- Prospect for business and prepare quotations to clients
- Allocate storage space to ensure efficient use of available resources
- Consolidate goods for export
- Organize for dispatch and delivery of goods to the relevant destinations while ensuring relevant documentation accompanies the goods
- Ensure the safe custody of goods in the Warehouse
Profile
- Business Degree/Supply Chain Management
- Experience in an SEZ will be an added advantage
- Three years working experience
