Key Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day warehouse and inventory operations across raw materials, finished goods, consumables, and dispatch.
- Implement and maintain inventory control procedures to ensure stock accuracy and accountability.
- Supervise stores, warehouse, dispatch, and inventory personnel to ensure operational efficiency.
- Monitor stock movement, reorder levels, stock aging, and inventory turnover.
- Conduct routine stock counts, cycle counts, reconciliations, and variance investigations.
- Ensure timely receipt, storage, issuance, and dispatch of inventory in compliance with company procedures.
- Coordinate closely with procurement, production, logistics, and finance departments to maintain operational continuity.
- Ensure accurate system entries and inventory updates within ERP/WMS systems.
- Generate inventory reports, stock movement reports, variance reports, and warehouse performance analysis.
- Develop and implement warehouse SOPs, safety procedures, and inventory management controls.
- Ensure proper space utilization, warehouse organization, and material handling standards.
- Lead warehouse process improvement initiatives aimed at reducing losses, improving turnaround times, and increasing efficiency.
- Monitor dispatch schedules and ensure timely customer deliveries.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, quality, and operational standards within the warehouse.
- Manage warehouse KPIs including stock accuracy, order fulfillment, dispatch turnaround time, and inventory losses.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in warehouse, stores, or inventory operations within FMCG manufacturing, packaging, paper, industrial, or production environments.
- Minimum 2 years in a supervisory or management role.
- Strong understanding of inventory controls, warehouse operations, stock reconciliation, and dispatch coordination.
- Experience using ERP or warehouse management systems such as SAP, Odoo, Microsoft Dynamics, Sage, Oracle NetSuite, Zoho Inventory, or similar platforms.
- Experience handling large-volume inventory environments and operational teams.
- Strong analytical and reporting skills with high attention to detail.
- Excellent leadership, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
- Knowledge of warehouse safety standards and operational compliance practices.
