Responsibilities
The Workshop Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing daily workshop operations, ensuring efficient workflow, and maintaining high standards of productivity and quality. Key duties include:
- Supervising and coordinating the activities of workshop staff.
- Ensuring all maintenance and repair tasks are completed on time and to specifications.
- Managing workshop inventory and supplies.
- Implementing and enforcing safety regulations and procedures.
- Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues.
- Conducting performance reviews and providing training to staff.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience in a supervisory role within a workshop environment.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems and repair techniques.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to manage a team and delegate tasks effectively.
- Proficiency in relevant software and diagnostic tools.
Experience
A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in a workshop setting, with at least 1 year in a supervisory capacity.
